James is the morning show host and Music Director on Toronto's JOY Radio, and co-host of the popular Between The Grooves music/faith podcast. He was a Covenant Award nominee in 2023 for Radio or Podcast Personality/Team of the Year. This Humber Polytechnic broadcasting graduate performs voiceovers for radio and television from the Curtash Communications recording studio. He has served as a 5-time judge at the Juno Awards in the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album category (from 2013 to 2022), and is a current member of both  GMA Canada and CARAS. 

James has been actively involved in his local community and church, serving in the sound ministry, in addition to special concerts, performances and events. Given his 35+ years involvement in church audio, he has taught comprehensive sound seminars, as well as directed many drama/music productions. 

James is married with two children, residing in Ontario, Canada.
